I can't quite remember where i heard about this originally (possibly www.crackunit.com ) but this is the bespoke end of the Boomkat Records online presence. Basically you get a hand picked selection of records—14 to be precise—usually wrapped around a theme, and usually quite a specific theme... read more

Sign up to Radio Pop and the BBC will store your listening habits. You can then see graphs, charts and lists of your listening, get recommendations from your friends, share your tastes and browse around to see what other people are hearing right now. I'll come clean and declare my own intere... read more

This is the supposedly 'long awaited' Stag & Dove dating website. It is a webcam dating site for young creative professionals. It is an interesting idea, but in my opinion (as a young creative professional who was, until recently, single), this site is a classic example of trying way too hard... read more

I've worked off and on over the years for Moving Brands, and at Christmas they sent me a scarf - which is lovely - but the way it was made is pretty exciting: it was co-created by the Moving Brands ecosystem (ie. them and everyone they know). I've copied and pasted the blurb from the Weare websit... read more

Social bookmarking, but for images. A useful source of inspiration for anyone working in the visual arts. Members can post images straight to the site via clever little bookmarklets. Sort of like a Google image search, whereby you browse to a page because of the images within it. Perhaps i'm over... read more

I don't know how rigourous the underlying data is and the design is a bit bargain basement. But its got something which makes it really r... read more

Oh no, not another social networking site! I've not updated my myspace page in months, my blog is a joke and my podcast never materialised. But wait, Facebook is actually quite useable; it doesn't look like a dogs dinner and feels a bit more grown up than the psychadelic confusion which inhabi... read more

A great project from Amnesty International. It is a fun way to make some noise about a hot political issue. Also it makes Amnesty more modern - no more grannies sending letters but all kind of people doing something. Nice one. read more

Flash based, this "game" sets you up as President and takes you through the journey that is Climate Change. Intensive learning outcomes (for this type of experience), interesting visually, not too cumbersome. I liked it! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/hottopics/climatechange/climate_challenge/ read more
