2009-03-24 Future of Sound / Future of Light brings together an international collective of vanguard artists, musicians, animators and digital masters to unveil cutting edge immersive audio visual innovations. On the 2009 tour they visit Goldsmiths, with performances from Future of Sound regulars The Sancho Plan, UVA, Scanner, and Tal Rosner. For a full line up of artists see the Future of Sound website. Hosted by Martyn Ware of Illustrious, who has been a frequent dynamo collaborator since the inaugural event in 2006. There will be a Symposium on Synesthesia chaired by Dr Julian Henriques in the Media Resources Building, in the afternoon, followed by an evening show in the The Great Hall. Both events are free.
